For many of us, a dream-come-true would be more preparation and storage space in our kitchens. One way of achieving this without a total remodel, is the purchase of a portable kitchen island. These space saving, budget friendly pieces of furniture are always ready to help with the task at hand. Whether its chopping veggies for a family meal or serving as a buffet for hordurves during a party; these islands on wheels adapt easily to the requirements of the user.
There are various sizes available with tops ranging from granite to butcher block. If storage is an issue, choose a model with shelving and drawers underneath. Just think, you could even wheel it out onto the deck or patio to have access to dishes, kitchen utensils, and even some small appliances. So next time you say to yourself: "It sure would be nice to have some more counter space in the kitchen," consider checking out the possibility of a portable island for your space.
