Do you wish to brighten up your room or add sparks of color to a dreary corner? Whether you are using fresh flowers or artificial flowers, this is a perfect way to freshen and beautify your home. Choosing flowers that accent your home’s décor and style are key. Here are a few simple thoughts when selecting your flowers and greenery to compliment your decorating style.
* Country - Using a basket, tin watering can, or clay pots with an assortment of Columbines, roses, or daisies, will give you a wildflower look.
* Contemporary - with a Contemporary style you want a bold statement. Select a single bloom flower such as a Calla Lily or Orchid. The vase should be simple but produces impact.
* Traditional - Begin with a glass or crystal vase. Full-petalled flowers, such as lilies, roses, or chrysanthemums with some golden rod would be pleasing to the eye.
* Romantic - For a vase, select an urn or a crystal vase. If you want a dramatic statement using soft, full flowers try using peonies, roses or gardenias. Add some greenery such as ivy for a draping affect.
Many flowers, roses for example, are appropriate year round. Other flowers have a specific season such as poinsettias. For the perfect seasonal arrangement, choose the right flowers, colors and accents. At Brymons we specialize in custom arrangements and carry "nature illuminated" lights that add a burst of light to any style room or arrangement.
