- Decorating Dilemmas Solved
Decorating Challenge/opportunity:
Our customers were shopping for a new dining table for their very narrow dining room. She was looking for something that they could use for every day meals for her family…she also wanted something in a more traditional style as opposed to the country style. She stated she would also like something to complement the woodwork in her home which is light maple.
Brymons Solution:
Our decorator showed the customer the choices of dining tables and chairs in the showroom; but most were too wide for her narrow space. She was concerned that she might not find anything in a color light enough for her room. Our decorator turned to the vendor catalogs and found a table that was only 40” wide, which would be perfect for the space. Most tables come in 42” widths or wider. This table could also be lengthened from 60” to 78” to seat more people. Our decorator also pointed out that the laminate top would be easy to care for and would not stain with their everyday use. Our customer loved the style of both the tables and chairs and the medium maple color will complement both the woodwork and existing furniture in the home.
