Jump... No Leap... Back into Spring

Now that Spring is officially here, it's time to open up the windows - take a breath of fresh air and get going!!  There is something about this time of year that makes us want to jump into getting our homes in order.  Put away the dark colored throws on the couch and switch the bold flower arrangements you have accenting the room in favor of a few brighter colors.  Could your bathroom use an update?  A quick and easy way to refresh a powder room is to change out the darker colored towels in favor of a few pastels.  Another quick freshen-up is to replace the mirror.  Swap that ho-hum pane of glass that you stared at all winter (and never liked) for an ornate decorative mirror that compliments your unique decorating style.  Instant new life in your room!

Now, how about a new picture to replace the one you received as a wedding present...how many years ago?   Remember scale when choosing the perfect picture - don't make the mistake of "too small" on a large wall. A set of two makes a perfect statement.  Replacing a few chosen items with new and fresh lets you personalize your home without the investment of a complete make-over, and in turn, reflects the real you.  After all, isn't that what we want our homes to do? a den, rec-room or dining room.
