Some Basic Do's and Don'ts of Decorating
Do:
- Be adventurous.
- Try something that will make you smile.
- Test different colors to set a mood or atmosphere.
- Change out the color of your accessories to usher in a new season or...on a whim.
- Ask for help if you don't know where to begin; our decorators love to help.
Don't:
- Be afraid to show your personality
- Worry about changing wall colors with the seasons; it's just paint.
- Sacrifice your favorite piece in the room, make it the focal point and work around it.
- Clutter, nothing will stand out if everything is fighting for attention
