Decorating Challenge: Table for Entryway
A local church committee was in need of a table for the guest book at their church entry. They were looking for a flat-surface sofa table with some storage for pamphlets and pens. They didn’t want anything too fancy or trendy.
Brymons Solution: A Piece for Another Purpose
During a visit to the store one of our decorators asked questions about the use of the table. She then showed the committee member how difficult it is to see or write on a sofa table as it would be too low for someone who was standing. She recommended a buffet which is taller and provides a more comfortable surface on which to write. The committee member said they’d never have thought of such a thing. Think outside the box—re-purpose furniture meant for other rooms to fit your unique needs.
