Brymons is Expanding to Offer Like-New Trade-in and Consignment Home Furnishings
Always customer-driven, Brymons is adding over 2,000 dedicated
square feet & another Certified Interior Decorator to Support Increasing Business
Atlantic, IA, March 4, 2011: Brymons Home Furnishings, Inc., home of the complimentary in-home decorating consultation, today officially announced the upcoming expansion of its store at 700 Park Drive (East Hwy 6) in Atlantic. The expansion will take place within the existing Brymons building, converting 2,000 square feet of existing warehouse space into dedicated retail space for carrying like new trade-in and consignment home furnishings. The trade-in and consignment center will share the main entrance and be accessible from the main showroom. The expansion will also include the addition of another Certified Interior Decorator to serve Brymons’ ever-growing customer base.
“We’re excited to formally announce the expansion of Brymons,” said Brymons owner Jennifer Miller. “We’ve been listening to our customers and store visitors since day one, and we’ve continually enhanced our offerings to meet their needs. One repeated request was for Brymons to accept trade-ins. After much consideration, and market research, we decided that carrying high-quality, like new trade-ins and consignments would extend our reach to new customers as well as further enhance our service to our wonderful existing customers.”
Since opening in September of 2006, Brymons has been serving southwest Iowa as a fullline home furniture store carrying furnishings for all rooms in the home. In addition to carrying furnishings for traditional living areas such as living rooms, family rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms; Brymons also carries furnishings for home office, home entertainment, great rooms, 4-season rooms, breakfast nooks, and a large selection of accessories and gift items.
Brymons has developed a unique complimentary in-home decorating service, allowing its Certified Interior Decorating staff to provide a level of expertise and service other home furnishings stores simply can’t provide. “We understand that each person has their own unique style,” Miller said. “To that end, our Certified Interior Decorators help our customers navigate the overwhelming number of furnishing options and form a partnership to develop a custom solution that is tailored to them, their style, and their home.
Miller continued, “Our complimentary in-home decorating consultation service has been very well received. Now with the ability to accept trade-ins, we can provide an even higher level of satisfaction and expanded services to our customers.”
Brymons is currently accepting trade-ins and consignments. Furniture items that are top quality, in like new condition, from a smoke-free, pet-free environment, and saleable in today’s market will be accepted. Trade-ins can go towards the purchase of new furnishings and/or accessories from the original showroom. If not trading-in, customers can consign their furnishings to sell in the new Brymons trade-in and consignment center. Accepted items include sofas & loveseats, chairs & ottomans, recliners, occasional tables, dining room sets, bedroom sets, TV stands/armoires, art work & area rugs, home office items, curios, lamps and accessories.
Construction on the expansion is already underway and preparations are being made to open the new portion of Brymons in mid-April. Brymons plans on hosting a special event to mark the opening of the expanded store. Brymons is also currently accepting applications for the additional decorating consultation position.
